SimVids is an online portal for simulator fans. Created with the simulator gamer in mind, our mission is to offer an all-sim-in-one experience to all our visitors.

The simulator game world is still an upcoming category in the gaming universe, say a new star in an overwhelming plethora of galaxies. Simulator titles have been around for a while but they have yet to catch up with the speed of development in computing and graphic boards, while reaching a broader fan base. The Microsoft Flight Simulator flagship has been without doubt the leader in its class, while trains ships and trucks simulators are slowly catching up. Today more developers are claiming a share of the market, with titles such as subway simulator, destruction simulator, skyscraper simulator, Garbage truck simulator, surgery simulator and the likes. Then came The Sims and Spore to claim a whole new category: Life and Social Sims.

Simulation games are all about realism. Many manufacturers backed by leading sim developers tapped on the increasing demand for simulator add-ons, from flight yokes to full on motion simulators, ship boards, train panels and 3D vision goggles. The popularity of sim games are also directly proportional to the actual development in the transportation industries worldwide. Whenever a new plane, a faster train or a bigger ship is launched, expect a new sim add-on or a whole new sim game. The sim world is without doubt developing rapidly, hence the need for an engaging platform for sim players, that filters out all the noise and offers just what the sim gamers are looking for. Our job is to skim the sim market on a daily, and sometimes hourly basis, and present the latest sim news from the most reliable sources in the sim world. We browse through the sim ware marketplaces and the largest mac and pc portals to find the latest sim products launches, useful info and helpful tips, catering to all sim gamers no matter what they love to play. To engage with our fans further we offer members the ability to upload their own simulator games creations from Sims personas to flying and driving videos and screenshots. While we do conduct game reviews, we also encourage our members to submit their own review of a product of their choice, making their SimVids experience a lot more personal.

We are also building our own Sim Market, which will offer a one-stop-shop for anything sim. Users will also be able to sell their own products directly on SimVids or link to their eBay and Amazon accounts and benefit from our targeted market exposure.
